This notice explains how we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What our forms collect, and why

Booking, enquiry and contact forms: your name, mobile number, email (optional), preferred day and time, the treatment you're interested in, whether you're a new or existing patient, how you heard about us and any message you add.
Emergency form: your name, mobile number, a short description of what happened and your pain level.

We use this only to reply to you, arrange your appointment and, for emergencies, decide how urgently to see you. Please don't send medical details through the website; we'll discuss those with you in person.

Consent and retention

We only process your form details when you tick the consent box. The website does not store form submissions: each one is emailed to our practice inbox and is not kept on the website. Enquiry emails that don't lead to an appointment are deleted within 90 days. Once you become a patient, your records are kept as required by health-records law and the HPCSA's guidelines. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Service providers

Email delivery: Resend, which sends the form contents to our inbox.
Website hosting: Lovable / Cloudflare.
Analytics (only if you accept cookies): to understand how visitors use the site, using no information that identifies you by name.
Google Maps and Google Reviews: embedded maps and reviews may set their own cookies.

Some providers process information outside South Africa; we use providers that protect it to a standard comparable with POPIA.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
